Admission Is Free But Donations Are Welcomed

The unveiling for the Patti Page Exhibit at the Claremore Museum of History is Friday, May 15, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is located at 121 N. Weenonah Avenue. A reception to mark the occasion is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. A program will follow at 7 p.m. featuring Dr. Bob Blackburn, executive director of the Oklahoma Historical Society; Peggy Layton (Patti’s sister); and Tim Akers (Patti’s nephew). The public is invited and encouraged to attend. No admission fee will be charged at either museum for the events. Please share this post with all of your family and friends. Better yet, bring them to the events. Let’s give Patti’s family a genuine “Claremore Welcome!”
