ALGER FLOOD

Claremore High School Coach and Educator

Biography

Born 1949 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma Alger Flood graduated from Okmulgee high school in 1967.  He made All state in football and was selected as lineman of the year by the Tulsa world. Alger received a full scholarship to The University of Oklahoma. 


Alger received his Bachelors Degree  at Central State University in Physical Education. He received his Masters Degree from Oklahoma State University in School Administration. He coached football and track for fifteen years and worked in public education for a total of 32 years..  Following his tenure as Claremore High School Head Football Coach, Alger transferred to coach at Owasso Public Schools and ultimately serve as Mid High Principal for 10 years.  He is currently employed by Northeast  Tech. 

Alger is married to the love of his life, Pam who also had a career in public education and was principal at Roosa Elementary for several years.  Together they have two daughters, Ashley and Mandy and six grandchildren who are the loves of their lives.
