Biography

Paul Pixley was born in 1950 to parents Warren and Pat Pixley.  The eldest of five children, Paul has been involved with the Pixley Lumber family owned business since 1972.   He currently serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO.

Paul graduated from Claremore High School in 1968.  He went on to pursue a degree at Oklahoma State University in General Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.  

He married his wife Beverly, and together they have three children, John Wilson, Chris Pixley and Mark Pixley.  Paul and Beverly have been members of St. Cecilia Catholic Church for many years.

Paul has been extremely active in Community Leadership roles.   He has served as the President of Rogers County Homebuilders’ Association, Claremore United Way Drive Chairman and President and Chairman of the Claremore Industrial and Redevelopment Authority.   He was named the Claremore Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year in 1988.  Paul has served as Past Director for the Bank of Oklahoma – Claremore, Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan, First Bank Oklahoma, Mid-America and Oklahoma Lumbermen’s Association to name a few.  

Paul was a founding member of the Claremore Public Schools Foundation and has held positions with the Rotary Club, Claremore Baseball Booster Club, Claremore Chamber of Commerce and was a Founding Trustee for Claremore Community Chorus.
